RICCHAGI™ was born from sacrifice, unyielding resilience, and the quiet, enduring legacy of a mother. Our inspiration comes from Late Vedavathi of the respected Nandi Neravanda Kodava family from Coorg—a land celebrated for its rich coffee heritage and misty hills.
Honoring Absolute Resilience
After leaving her ancestral plantation life behind, life presented extreme hardships following the loss of her husband. Yet, she raised her family with remarkable strength and determination in Bengaluru. Witnessing his mother’s silent battles inspired Umesh Raj to rebuild that coffee farming dream. While successfully operating a corporate signage enterprise for over 16 years, that vision finally became reality as RICCHAGI™.
Why Premium Coffee Deserved Better
During extensive research across Coorg and Chikkamagaluru, the founders discovered that hygiene standards were heavily neglected in traditional processing. They observed mixed harvesting of raw and ripe cherries, poor sorting, open drying yards exposed directly to dust or animal contaminants, and improper storage that compromised structural integrity. We knew premium coffee deserved an absolute standard of purity.
Our Imperative Purity Protocol
We engineered a flawless processing standard built around clean operations: selection of handpicked mature red cherries only, zero-defect optical and structural sorting, washing with pristine natural water, and clean drying inside enclosed, dust-free solar polyhouses. Our production teams mandate protective head covers, sterile gloves, and masks to keep processing purely hygienic.
Our Estate Range & Vision
We craft 100% Pure Arabica Single-Origin Estate Grown Coffee, freshly roasted in highly monitored micro-batches to maximize flavor density. Beyond coffee, RICCHAGI™ delivers premium, clean botanical extracts including dehydrated Garlic, Onion, Tomato, Tamarind, and Moringa powders, with plans to introduce a boutique luxury tea collection founded on these identical pillars of cleanliness.
